Recovery references biodiversity, collapse, and the rewilding movement among other things. Rewilding is a process of restoring natural processes of an ecosystem or a species, essentially de-vesting human participation in regions and letting nature take its course.
This is one artwork in a series of sculptures based on fire extinguisher safety inspection hang tags. Symbolically these safety tags represent a trusted authority has verified that an object has some ability to defend oneself in an emergency.
