This oversized pocket watch sculpture is in a trio relationship with Dont Panic and 20XX. It's perhaps most auspicious of the three with it's numerology and lion head. The phrase "No Fate" is a direct quote from the 1991 film Terminator 2: Judgement Day, in which the character Sarah Connor carves the phrase into a table with a large combat knife just before taking fate into her own hands and attempting to assassinate a computer scientist who in the future creates an artificial intelligence bent on exterminating humanity. Other references on the piece are a rough translation of a biblical passage about judgement day, but I appreciate the auspicious, open ended poetry of the quote itself more than the direct origins of it.
